The Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) centre for the WDRP was opened on 20/03/2016. The centre is established with the support of Dzongkhag Education Sector and is exclusively intended for the children of the workers of WDRP. The centre will teach various basic skills and  prepare the children for school while at the same time letting the parents work in peace. The centre has 37 children, 2 instructors and a helper.
